If you are using perl Template::Toolkit you can get this error in output:
Template Toolkit output: Wide character in print at /usr/local/lib/perl5/....mach/Template.pm line xxx
It’s usually because you have some Unicode characters like “ ’ — etc in your templates.
To avoid this you should:
- use on input utf-8 encoded (with BOM) template files
- add –binmode:=utf8 to args when calling ttree (ex: ttree –binmode:=utf8 -f tree.cfg)
